Otto brings a wealth of experience and expertise, with a solid background in the Australian Public Service and a remarkable tenure of nearly 20 years in the not-for-profit/for-purpose sector, serving as both CEO and as non-executive board member and chair. Throughout his career, Otto has been dedicated to empowering individuals to enhance their capabilities and embrace new opportunities. Otto also brings an extensive knowledge of the faith-based not-for-profit sector and its intricacies, having worked in faith-based NFPs at the executive, CEO, and Board levels.

Otto holds a Graduate Certificate in Business and a Master of Business Administration (with Distinction) from Western Sydney University. He is pursuing a PhD in NFP leadership at the University of New England, further augmenting his expertise in the field. Additionally, Otto serves as the Vice-Chair (Research) of the Leadership Development Community in the International Leadership Association (ILA), reflecting his commitment to advancing leadership practices.

Otto has presented at conferences and co-authored a book chapter on Indigenous engagement with the NDIS. Upholding professional standards, Otto is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of both the Governance Institute of Australia and the Institute of Managers and Leaders. In addition, he is a member of several national and international professional bodies.
