Hannah has been named by Business Today in the ‘Top 10 Exceptional Charities Lawyers in Australia: A 2023 Outlook’ and recognised by Chambers and Partners for her charity law expertise in the Asia Pacific region. After 14 years in private practice, including as a Partner leading the not-for-profit corporate team in a national law firm, Hannah established For Purpose Advisory to better service the not-for-profit and charity sector.
Hannah is a trusted legal and governance adviser to many clients in the not-for-profit and charity sector. As an Accredited Mediator, Hannah also facilitates the resolution of a broad range of grievances within not-for-profit organisations.
Hannah is an accomplished non-executive director on not-for-profit and charity boards, and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Women on Boards. Most recently she chaired the board of a charitable environmental organisation and she is currently an advisory board member for an organisation that aims to amplify donations to charities.
In addition to her law degree, Hannah holds an arts degree with a psychology major and a Masters of International Law, specialising in human rights and corporate social responsibility.
