Amanda Salama

Senior Lawyer

Amanda is an experienced lawyer, human resources professional and non-executive director. She has worked in the legal profession since 2004, variously as a paralegal, Tipstaff to a Supreme Court of NSW Judge and a solicitor.

Admitted to practice in 2007, Amanda’s experience is across a variety of commercial litigation practice areas gained from preeminent mid and top tier legal practices, as well as in-house within the banking and finance and construction industries.

For the last seven years, Amanda led the legal, compliance and human resource function for a premier Sydney civil construction business and has a deep understanding of compliance and governance in a highly regulated environment.

Amanda is currently serving her second term as a non-executive director of CORE Community Services, a large community services not-for-profit servicing South-West Sydney offering aged care, NDIS, youth, settlement/multicultural and pre-school services.  She is a pragmatic and commercially minded lawyer who understands the challenges faced by both ‘for profit’ and ‘for purpose’ businesses.
